Project Summary

This project is related to a 1975 Mercedes 240D – US model. Project meaning is to restore the steering/suspension system of the vehicle, together with all needed works on all connected systems, restoration of the interior, and the biggest job: Bodywork. Previously there were done some works on floor panels, together with longitudinal cross members (sills) replacement. This work will be checked and replaced where it is proved to be necessary.

The powertrain will be changed to an OM617a engine coupled to a new generation automatic gearbox.
Various jobs will be carried on to also improve the driving comfort.
