Project example

To understand better what a restoration process involves at WYR Classics workshop, look at the following images, which elaborates the sequence of operations performed within a project.

Disassembling the vehicle, at the same time verifying and checking the components that will need to be replaced or repaired.

Removing old layers of paint, putty, filler, underbody stone protection, existing on the vehicle.

Bodywork jobs, related to replacement of damadged panels, removal of rust affected panels or part of them. Usually these jobs are performed using original parts, where available, or remanufactured parts in our own shop.

Dismantling, inspection and check, and repairing the components of suspension and steering system.

Engine disassembly, inspection and repair.

Disassembly, inspection and repair of manual or automatic gearbox.

Disassembly, inspection and repair of the main transmission.

Inspection and functional check of electrical equipment, reconstruction or replacement (where is necessarry). 

Full body check, observing all lines and gaps between elements.

Final preparation and inspection before painting.

Paint the body and components.

Final assembly and testing
